Vision, inspiration and determination are the keywords in this young business woman's mantra. In the last 13 years, Sarah has taken a high energy approach to the hair industry. She continues her growth as a stylist, seeking the best education by studying under her mentors, challenging herself in competitive ventures such as NAHA, and attending the hair industry's best hands on opportunities, business and technical seminars.
The balance of science and art drew Taryn into the world of hair. For four years shes devoted herself to the pursuit of well executed cuts, colors and beard grooming. Taryn is detail obsessed and her specialties include short styles, fades, quirky-cool looks, and fixing haircuts gone awry. Her goal is to help everyone achieve a style that lets them feel as great as they look!
When not cutting hair Taryn enjoys checking out the local music scene, finding a good bite to eat and trying out new hobbies and activities.
Every aspect of Nate's life revolves around art, so he knew he wanted to be an artist at an early age. This attracted him to the beauty industry. If your head of hair is the canvas, his clippers are the paint. Nate can visualize EXACTLY how he wants his canvas to look. He takes a quiet, tactful approach to hair and is fussy with every detail. Nate has been in the industry for 10+ years and feels it's not work if you love what you do. He loves fancy tapered fades to highly textured, unconventional/androgynous cuts, all with his own artsy flair. Nate has lived in Portland on and off and moved here far before anyone knew it was cool. He considers Portland home even though he was raised in the midwest. In his free time he enjoys dancing at live music events and festivals and exploring the wilderness, capturing memories with his camera.
Sarah has been an artist since she can remember. She found hair as another medium for self expression at a young age. Coming from the Oregon coast and then Eugene, she moved to Portland 4 years ago to pursue a career in the hair industry. Sarah started out in a salon then transitioned into doing mostly men’s hair cuts. Her heart lies in doing work that mirrors her interest in the odd and unconventional. She loves raw, edgy cuts and fine detailed work. She is a patient listener who loves to problem solve her way around your hair while complementing your unique qualities. In her free time you’ll find her painting, catching live music, or enjoying quality time with her cats.
Amanda has been in the business of making people look and feel great for 10+ years. She practiced the art of barbering and cosmetology for 7+ years before deciding to transition into salon management. She's an Austin, Texas native, but an Oregonian at heart. When Amanda isn't running things at the shop, you can find her enjoying her favorite Mexican food dishes, drinking a margarita and hanging out with her dog, Mocha.
Adrienne is a lifelong Oregonian and proud graduate of the University of Oregon. Go Ducks! She has spent the last decade specializing in men's hair in Portland. Her experience, attention to detail, and passion for her craft has allowed her to create tailored, yet versatile looks for those who sit in her chair. Adrienne takes genuine interest in the lives of her clients and enjoys the relational aspect of her trade just as much as the technical and artistic nature.
Daysha has been in the heart of PDX for 17 years and cutting hair with the best of them for 13. She considers barbering as less of a job and more of a fun, professional hobby. She loves making the people of Portland look and feel good! Daysha's specialty is super short blurry fades. When Daysha isn't behind the chair, she loves exploring PDX with her dog, Andre, going to yummy restaurants and attending live music shows.
Marley has experience in all aspects of the hair world, from color to kids cuts to killer fades. She is always looking to try new styles and techniques. Marley is a native Oregonian and loves spending her time finding new adventures and being outside as much as possible.
Originally from Arizona, Krystal arrived in PDX 3 years ago to share her effervescence and warmth with Oregon. She has a wide range of experience working in barbershops and salons, giving her a broad knowledge of different hair cutting and coloring techniques. Rather than specializing in any one trends she takes pride in focusing on what’s best for her clients. She excels in a variety of techniques from long layers and balayage to military high and tights, soft pixies to flat tops and color corrections. Krystal’s goal is to identify with each clients vision and create a look that complements their lifestyle. In her downtime, Krystal loves to explore new restaurants and listen to Kpop with her dog, Rizzo.
